My first attempt was quite nerve racking! I made this for Wendy's bridal shower. Her wedding colors are black and olive green, which I love!

The box, opened has four sides and each side has 3 flaps.

 

I also made a card using Shawna's Scrapping Spot http://shawnasscrappinspot.blogspot.com/2009/06/mondays-video.html. I used matching cardstock.

I didn't want to post pictures until I gave this to Adam and Eva for Marley's birthday, which was 6-16. I am happy with how it turned out but more happy that Adam and Eva love the book!

I read an article on the web and a feeling of "really, this is what is making news in this day and age" came over me. Why? See article below:

I took up as collection for Aggie, (one of my bffs) who was room mom for this year kindergarten class. (Her daughter Tiffany and Jacob have been friends since 2.5 years old and they are in the same class.) Aggie did an amazing job this year with all the parties and decorations for the children. We (the class) are giving her a gift certificate for Micheal's crafts. I made a card for her so everyone can sign it. The card is called the "Joy Fold" card. It was fun to make.

On 4-30-09, my friend Danielle and her husband became 2nd time parents to Miss Kennedy Dylan. She joins big sister, Madison, who is 5.5 years. Danielle told me that Kennedy has so much stuff and clothes that she doesn't need anything else, so I wanted to make a word book for her. They are lots of fun. Unfortunately, they moved to New Mexico in 2007 and we miss them terribly. She ran a child care business out of her home and took care of Jacob once a week to give me a break and thru that we became amazing friends and miss her daily. My father in law, Damon! We all hope he has a great day! The boys and I are going to take him out to lunch today! Should be a great time! The boys love spending time with him...Me too!

On Sparkpeople, they have a group called The biggest loser challenge. I am on the team of the Bright Green Goddesses. Today is the first day. We log on each Wednesday and give our weight and how many workout we have done, etc. The challenge goes for 12 weeks and a goal is set in the beginning how much you want to lose in the 12 weeks. I have committed to losing 15 pounds in 12 weeks.
